What is Porcino Yeast™?
Porcino Yeast™ is a powder blend of live active yeast, fructo-oligosaccharides, and probiotics (porcine specific), designed for growing pigs (from weaning to up to 70 kg weight) and sows (all stages) to prevent diarrhea and to increase immunity in the animals.
Mode of action:
Live active yeast: Increase the total bacterial count in the digestive tract, especially the cell population. Additionally, helps in conditions of stress and in the absorption of carbohydrates.
Fructo-oligosaccharides: Immuno-stimulant agents that bind specifically to a receptor molecule on the surface of phagocytes. When the receptor molecule is engaged, the cells become more active, killing and digesting bacteria. At the same time, they secrete signal molecules which stimulate the formation of white blood cells.
Probiotics: The four types of probiotics in Porcino Yeast™ are specific to the porcine specie. These are Bifidobacterium Longhum, Bifidobacterium Thermophilum, Lactobacillus Acidophilus and Streptococcus Faecium . Their function is to prevent colonization of pathogens in the intestines by competitive exclusión and the production of lactic acid in the presence of pathogens, preventing disease and helping to maintain the good health of the animals.
All components in Porcino Yeast™ work in synergism, increasing their respective efficacies, resulting in the increased quantity and quality of animal production.
