TECHNICAL SUMMARY
What is Megaenzyme XP™?
Megaenzyme XP™ is a concentrated enzymatic supplement with probiotics, specially formulated to improve animal digestion in order to achieve greater nutrient absorption in the animal gut. Megaenzyme XP™ facilitates better digestion through its hydrolyzing effect on nutrients, improving their bio-availability and their absorption in the digestive tract, resulting in a savings in metabolic energy that reflect in a better feed conversion and weight gain, with corresponding positive impact in production costs. Additionally, the enzymes Xylanase, Lactase and Phytase included in Megaenzyme XP™, allow for a more efficient use of lower costs raw materials, such as wheat byproducts and dairy byproducts, frequently included in swine feed formulations. Furthermore, the presence of Phytase in Megaenzyme XP™ eliminates the need for another external source of Phytase in the feed.
The probiotics that are part of Megaenzyme XP™ provide for a better animal well being, that translate into a significant reduction in mortality levels and therefore in an important improvement in the lot's final survivability. Eventually, the common treatment techniques, such the routine use of antibiotics and growth promoters in the feed, can be significantly reduced or eliminated.
The net effect in the use of Megaenzyme XP™ is more production of lean meat, at a lower cost and with a superior quality to the end consumer. Experience has shown that its use is a determinant factor in raising animals more competitively.
Mode of action and rate of application:
With Megaenzyme XP™ maximum nutrients availability and obsorption is achieved due to the hydrolyzing activity of the Megaenzyme XP™ components: PROTEASE, AMYLASE, CELLULASE, LIPASE, PEPTINASE, LACTASE, XYLANASE and PHYTASE in the amine, carbohydrate, lipid, and fiber groups in the feed. The above mentioned enzymes are produced by Aspergillus Oryzae, by the fermentation and extraction method.

Megaenzyme XP™ also contains probiotics (lactobacillus acidophilus, bifidobacterium thermophilum, bifidobacterium longum, Streptococcus faecium) for the purpose of restoring intestinal microflora for competitive exclusion and to produce lactic acid in localized intestinal areas, that result in bactericidal action which contribute to the elimination of pathogens in the digestive tract. Less feed phosphate needed in rations: 0.1% in layers and 0.1% broilers.
Megaenzyme XP™ is applied as any other microingredient, without the need of dispensing equipment. It may be applied directly to mixer or pre-mixed prior to application in the feed. It is applied at a rate of 100 grams per MT of poultry feed (PELLETIZED) and 75 grams/MT (Non-pelletized feed ); 100grs per MT for all pelletized feeds, swine, and bovine feed. Megaenzyme XP™ is stable under standard pelleting conditions (80ºC, 1 minutes maximum).
Megaenzyme XP™ saves in formulation: 2% protein, 5% energy, 0.1% phosphorous and 100% growth promoter.
